Good food is of all times. Also in the time of Thomas More. In 1514 appeared the first printed cookbook in Dutch with the wonderful title A notabel boecxken van cokeryen.

500 years later, some young Leuven chefs are inspired by the recipes from this book. Be surprised by 16th-century haute cuisine with a contemporary touch.

The chefs of top restaurants Zappaz, Tafelrond, Zarza, Het land aan de overkant, Trente and Essenciel all participate with one Utopia dish on the menu during the whole period of the exhibition.
